This 48 hour entry-level course includes technical classroom training on the basics of solar energy and design, hands-on lab learning in installation techniques, and an online solar-specific safety course.  Our trainers received their instruction at Solar Energy International (SEI) and have field work experience.

Qualified applicants are those who will  make good employees.  Solar installation employers are looking for motivated individuals who are willing to follow instructions, work well on a team, show up reliably and on time, communicate well, and enjoy working outdoors.  Solar PV installation is a construction trade  which requires work on rooftops using hand and power tools, lifting solar panels, and many trips up and down the ladder each day.
